I love taking pictures, and 2016 was a really good year for me. Down below are a few pictures from the year, that I love! They may not be the best pictures, but they’re all special to me!
This first picture is from my trip to Goa, India with my friends. Beach, sea-food, friends…what else do you need? We were meant to be at a conference on the day (hence, the formal wear), but we got bored and snuck out half-way through!
This next image is also from Goa! We had dinner one evening at a shack by the beach, while watching this beautiful sunset.
This selfie was taken while we were on a holiday soon after my graduation. I love this picture because it has three generations in it. That’s my gran, my mom, and me. Apparently, we all look similar! I don’t see it.
The next picture was taken in my verandah back home in India. Calcutta monsoons are my favourite, and on this day I’d woken up to rain and decided to sit in the verandah and read a book all morning. What a perfect day!
Now that I’m in London I miss my pet more than anyone else. I also have a huge stuffed toy collection that I’m used to having around me on my bed when I sleep.
When I got to my room in London I was very happy with my work space and wanted to decorate it as soon as I could. This is how it looked after I was done with it. There are a few more additions to my work space now, but this is how it looked when I first unpacked and set up my room.
I live close to the Tower Bridge and it is a place we love frequenting in the evening, for obvious reasons…it’s stunning, especially after dark.
England in autumn. Enough said.
A lot of the times, I still don’t believe that I’m living in London. It still hasn’t sunk in, and I’m in awe every time I walk past a view as beautiful as this.
So there you have it! Those were a few of my favourite pictures from 2016.
That’s all for now, folks!
Hope you’re having a good morning/afternoon/night wherever you are!
Quote of the Day: “A bad day in London is still better than a good day anywhere else.”
